"Talking about dreams is like talking about movies, since the cinema uses the language of dreams; years can pass in a second and you can hop from one place to another. It's a language made of image.
And in the real cinema, every object and every light means something, as in a dream."

— Frederico Fellini

MY FAVORITE DREAM BOOKS

HEALING DREAMS by Mark Barasch
One of the best books I have seen on the subject.  Excellent comprehensive look at dreams.  particular attention to dreams during illness.  Helpful for exploring about how a dream might apply to a situation in daily life.

THE THIRD REICH OF DREAMS by Charlotte Beradt
Amazing look at how greater events in the world affect our dreams.  Between 1933-1935, a journalist collected dreams from people living in Germany.  Check at college libraries.

GETTING HELP FROM YOUR DREAMS by Henry Reed
Very readable and simple, but has good techniques.

MY FAVORITE DREAM WEB SITES

www.asdreams.org/links01.htm has a VERY comprehensive list of links.

psych.ucsc.edu/dreams/is a good site if you are interested in scientific research on dreams.  For more practical information about dreams, see their list of links at: psych.ucsc.edu/dreams/links.html
